Building sustainable mindsets through digital learning

A European partnership for sustainability education and AI-supported digital transformation.

Why SMART-HEAD?

Sustainability is more than a topic to study. Meaningful change depends on how people understand information, evaluate consequences and act in everyday life. SMART-HEAD connects university learning with real environmental and social challenges through micro-learning, gamification, practical activities, reflection and responsible use of AI.

Shared ambition

What we are building

A shared educational methodology, 365 daily cards linked to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and a multilingual digital ecosystem designed to support quizzes, practical micro-actions, progress tools and responsible AI-supported learning.

Increase students’ and educators’ awareness and understanding of sustainable development through engaging digital learning and responsible AI.

What SMART-HEAD will create

  • 365 short educational cards combining a sustainability message, an SDG reference, a practical micro-action and optional deeper content.
  • Monthly quizzes and tools for personal progress and optional gamification.
  • A multilingual digital ecosystem and mobile application in English, Bulgarian, Greek and Romanian.
  • Mechanisms for student feedback, piloting, expert review and continuous improvement.
